square dancing, kung fu, hoola hooping, clogging, country music karaoke, hackey sack, roller disco, porn, miming, not mining, cuz i don't believe it it. cave dwelling, lion taming, pooh flinging, coffee, and moms.
I am forced to be social, every day, at work so, I have absolutely no desire to meet anyone new. I don't have time for my friends as it is. Blah. Bitch. Rant.
I like a ton of music. I find that just as soon as i get the chance to appreciate some of the old stuff, a bombardment of new artists are brought to my attention. Some of my favorite bands are dashboard confessional, something corporate, mxpx (the first christian band i ever liked), weezer, slick shoes, ghoti hook, ben kweller, phantom planet, modest mouse, postal service, death cab for cutie, belle and sebastion, elliot smith, lisa loeb, cranberries, the get up kids, the doors, travis, american football, counting crows, elton john, tom petty and the heartbreakers, further seems forever, coldplay, buddy holly, lola ray, melissa etheridge, and lots of other strange random types of music. I'm a sucker for most 1980's love ballads and pop contributions. Phil Collins is a god :) There are so many bands and music that i love or even just appreciate that it couldnt all fit in this boxy dynamic. I respect all musicians even if there music isnt my cup of tea because at least youre doing something with the gift you were given. I could never even play the recorder, but i love to listen, so keep on playing...lol that shoulda ended with a rock sign or something.. a little air guitar, who knows...
so i married an axe muderer, clueless, dazed and confused, 10 things i hate about you, napoleon dynamite, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, harold and kumar go to white castle, amelie, anything with janeane garofalo, benny and joon, slackers, casablanca, buster keaton films, charlie chaplin films, my fair lady, 7 brides for 7 brothers, shakespeare films, almost any musical is neato, singing in the rain, monty python and the holy grail, monty python life of brian, john cleese-on how to irritate people, the princess bride, lord of the rings, toy story, mrs. doubtfire, austin powers, and thousands of others im sure
i try not to watch too much television. It's main purposes in my life are to play video games, watch movies, and occasionally pass the early morning hours away after another night of sleeplessness. However, i am a sucker for gilmore girls, scrubs, family guy, cowboy bebop, two guys and a girl, and that 70's show. I watch most of them from my computer though, so i guess that's cheating. We just bought some new furniture though with recliners in the couch so im trying to like more tv so i can have an excuse to veg.
The Bell Jar, richard III, Much ado about nothing, robert frost's poetry, emma, spilling clarence, pablo neruda is growing on me, sadly, i have a weakness for John Grishom (the man can write), and where the sidewalk ends (cuz a good classic never expires) Mostly what i end up reading are books that i randomly come across in a book or thrift store... i feel like you can just stumble onto literary gold just about anytime of the day.
sadly, i can't think of one. I would put myself but i get annoyed when i have to spend time with me, so, that's not gonna work.
