About Me

In the 1970's, Susie was founder & banjo player with the Buffalo Gals, 1st all-girl bluegass band from Syracuse, NY. She moved to Nashville in 1976 with her jazz banjo album "Melting Pots". In the 80's she was an instrumentalist with the Vassar Clements Band. Adding mandolin & button accordion, she played with Ginger Boatwright, Richard Dobson, Townes Van Zandt, Nanci Griffith, Josie Kuhn, David Waddell, & Ceili Rain. She currently plays with the Panhandlers of Love & Farmer's Co-op!
