Hi, I'm mike. Heres my life so far... My main goal and aim in life has always been to follow my dreams, and whatever I do has always beendriven by a deep passion of always wanting to achieve the best and also do some good while accomplishing it.From an early age I can always remember wanting to be different, go into the world and make a mark.One day I want to create something I can look back on and say, “I did this!” and being a designer can make this a reality.Design and business is always something I have liked, my first go of a small business was a car cleaning service,I started this at the age of 14, I called it “MB The car valet professional”, I first started off by going aroundall of the homes in my housing estate, after this, I branched off into the local town, most of the time I had thedoor slammed in my face. The times I succeed and people wanted there car washed, I always gave it my best,I quickly developed a system where I could clean the car as fast as possible, so I could move onto the next house,however, I still did a good job. After 6 months of doing this, I started designing flyers and price lists for my services.When designing these I found I had flare at graphic design.When starting year 10, one of my core subjects taken was graphic design, here I was taught how to useAdobe Photoshop as well as the Coral Draw design package. While at school I studied Graphic Design for 4 years,improving my knowledge within the Adobe Photoshop program. In my final year I was given the opportunity to redesignall the graphical side of a local business called AJD Cleaning services, This was a great learning experience for me,where I had meetings with my client to find out what she wanted. My final outcome for this job included a business card,flyer, invoice, leaflet, poster, compliment slip and the logo. It was from this job I set up eMpire Design, it is nowmy goal to expand and incorporate new things within, some ideas bigger than others, however, with time,these ideas will one day become reality.At the moment eMpire is small, I have however incorporated the things I have a great passion for and enjoy doing.Graphic design is one of these things, others are: cinematography, I have filmed parties, weddings and othersentimental videos for people, as well as abstract and fun videos in which I have made with intention to go on youtube.One of my main subjects I concentrate on is landscape photography, I first started taking panorama stylephotographs, taking many pictures and then piecing them together on Photoshop rather like a jigsaw.My new style of photography has moved away from the panorama, i now take single photographs in monochrome; the first time I experimented in this style was in New York City, I only took around 8 pictures like this, all of which look classy. At the moment in time I am in my second year at the University of Teesside where I am studying interior design .
