Profile GeneratorIt started way back 1998 when the scene seems to be likely dead,there were no more unity among the lads,and you hardly see any skinheads roaming the streets of these 2 town called Subang Jaya and Sunway.A few remaining few skins from Sunway City started to jammed to our local Oi! and Punk bands such as A.C.A.B,THe Official,Saturday Heroes and The Rudeboys,Acid Rain,Expired,etc...after they all got tired of just hanging around on Saturdays doing nothing.At the time they didnt know that what they started was going to lead to the birth of one of the most hated Oi!/S.H.A.R.P band in KL City!.It started of with Din on vocals,Kecik on lead guitar,Pop..Oi! on bass and Zam on drums.After a couple of months,Din,Pop..Oi! and Kecik left the band and indeed was desperate to find new line up.Then came Mie replacing Pop..Oi! on bass and later Usop,a skinhead from Subang Jaya came in as a second guitarist of the band.So they started to play classic Oi! tunes from The Oppressed,4Skins,The Last Resort,The Business,Cockney Rejects,etc..And this time they were so caught up with the music they decided to form a band to represent their local town.Din came up with the name What A Riot,W.A.R as to provoke others.So by mid end of 1998,W.A.R was born by a bunch of upstart skins.Things didnt go our way for long as Mie left the band to join another Oi! band called Steeltoe Solution and Kecik decided to call it a day. Once again the band was left without a bass player and a lead guitarist.Then Din..s brother Muez came to the rescue to play bass for the band,Maggoo came in as a lead guitarist and sometime after that a friend from up north called Bogo came in as the band deperately needs a vocalist.After a few years of serious jamming seassion, W.A.R finally got a chance to perform in 2001 in a sleepy town called Port Dickson.Although the pub was pretty dodgy,we didnt mind at all untill the coppers raid us and charged us for illegal gathering and saying that it was a left wing gathering plotting againts the goverment and plan to cause trouble at that town.Aint life..s a bitch?After that Bogo decided to call it quits.And after a while Usop took the job of singing for the band.Within that year W.A.R recieved and offer to perform in Chiang Mai, Thailand but didnt go because Usop was still in school.But it wasnt the end of W.A.R as many has predicted.2002 W.A.R was back with a vengence!W.A.R was invited to be an opening act for major Oi! bands in Malaysia such as A.C.A.B,The Mister,The Suspect A.K.A,etc..It was a big break for the band. Soon after that W.A.R was performing everyweek all over KL City.But soon after that,trouble starts...Most of the Oi! gigs was been raided by the facist skins in KL.There were riots after every show and of course W.A.R band mates also participated!Soon after that they organizer labelled us as trouble makers and W.A.R was back to square one again.In the same time,Maggoo left the band and Usop took his place and still sang for W.A.R.We were a 3 piece band.But never the less we keep on performing although most of the lads hated us.W.A.R was born with the S.H.A.R.P ideology and while most of the lads disaggree we stood by our decision and play the crowd.MORE NOISE FOR THE BOYS!In 2004 Acu@Kecik came in as a drummer and Zam was on guitar backing up Usop.It seems that where ever we go,trouble lurks in every corner and we didnt mind at all.AT this point, we were wanted by the authorities because of a few misunderstanding and some cunts love to cause trouble then blame it on us.On the run we never stop practising and our jamming session.At this time we were on road tours performing outsite KL City in other different states of the country.Late night driving,intoxicated most of the time,it was a hell of a time for us.And it seems that trouble never left us alone.In 2005 because of a misunderstanding between Usop and Muez,Usop left the band.And soon after that Zam followed and also Acu.Came in a few old friends to help Muez with the band,Mugil on vocal,Pet on guitar,Jack also on guitar and Didie on drums W.A.R perform in the first ever S.H.A.R.P Festival in KL City.After that the bands line up broke up again.By demand,W.A.R did a reunion show.Usop got the lads back together and they perform as they thought the final or the fatal blow!.After the show the coppers nicked Usop as the other band mates was lucky enough to get away.After a few days in the local police lockup,Usop was out and decided to play for W.A.R again.But this time,Acu and Zam called it a day.Without a second guitarist or a drummer,W.A.R is still performing in KL City.Currently with seasionist,good old mates playing other instrument.But now in 2008,Acu has return to the band after being away for sometime.After 10 years,W.A.R is still around.Although we have not release any demos,ep..s or what not,W.A.R is still going strong.More Noise For The Boys,Playing Music For The Crowd,is still our motto.So this page is a tribute to all the ex band mates,our fans(if we..re lucky to have one!),S.H.A.R.P(REAL S.H.A.R.P SKINS NOT THOSE WHO CLAIM TO BE ONE OF US BUT BY THE END OF THE DAY ARE JUST FAKES)skins of KL City,Subang Bootboys Crew,to the remaining W.A.R band members,the bands that we listen to when we were kids(cheers for the good tunes and influence!),and to the "TRUE" Mighty Sunway City Skinheads,us guys that hated by many,us guys that you call bastrads and scums,us bastards that those look up in case of trouble.You know what I mean.Mates come and go,untill today we have a strong follower of so called "mates" that claim they are the founder of S.H.A.R.P in Sunway City(fuck off you prick,stop spreading lies,be who are for once in your life be a fucking man you stupid fucking bastard),those who used to be friends but nowadays back stab us,telling lies about us,just to prove to others that we..re so great that you have to make up stories to even try to be like us(what a fucking loser!).This is proof to others that hate us if you must,but you can never see the last of us.Salute to our "real" mates.Cheers and hope you like W.A.R(What A Riot)music page.
