About Me

...My earliest recollection of music in my life was listening to my moms Elvis records as a very young kid...I slowly moved up to KISS and they became my first "favorite" group......I played trumpet from 4th grade until i graduated in '84...I started playing bass in '83...well actually as the story goes...i was at a high school heavy metal vomit party...my friend joe had a guitar there...he ASSUMED that because i played trumpet...i could figure out the guitar...i messed with it for a few minutes but as i was playing (or attempting) to play along to RUSH's' TOM SAWYER...he said "you're not playing the guitar part...you're playing the bass part...so....long story short...the next day...i went to a pawn shop and bought a second hand bass...and the rest...as they say is history......It's been over 26 years now since I started playing bass...but i've been playing music all my life...starting out with one of those mini drumsets that my parents bought me as a small child...the heads were destroyed within a few weeks, so they got me a drum pad and sticks...guess that's when i realized my love of the rhythm...i've played all different styles of music...everything from 70's pop/rock to country...to SLIPKNOT and everything in between...I've studied many different styles and techniques...borrowing from some of the greats like chris squire, tony levin, jaco pastorius, mark king, and so on......I'm currently in 1 band...Jesse Garon's Elvis Tribute...the KING ROCKS...REAL OLD SCHOOL...keep an eye/ear out as I'm starting on my next song...possibly with a writing partner...hopefully a couple new projects on the horizon...both involving former bandmates from recents bands and not so recent bands...we'll see where they lead......PLEASE to be checking out my unfinished original song entitled "T.D.N.Y." in the player above AND the newest edition to my collection of originals..."The Rain (Randi's Song)...a piece that I wrote for my very close friend who was taken away from us in May of this year...hey rannnnnnnnnndi...just wanted you to know i was thinking of you...Gimme talk RADIOOOOOO...I listen to Dennis and Michelle (NJ 101.5) in the mornings and the Mike O'Meara Show (wjfk.com) in the evenings...really funny stuff...REALLY!!!!
