My Interests

Writing, Music, Reading, Meeting new people, Movies, some politics, this and that, whatever. I'm always up for new things, so these are my everyday basics. New stuff always seems to pop up when you least expect them to.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone into my interests and sometimes not. At least those who are of an open mind. Meaning, the ones that say they are until they find something they don't agree with and don't go batshit. Good, honest, intelligent people with a really good sense of humor and a natural want for learning new things. And this guy, so we can bring it back to three martini lunches, sexual harassment, off color jokes anytime and doing whatever the fuck us men want

Music:

Metal (Death, Black, Thrash, Power, Prog, Blah), Hardcore, Punk, Grind, mainstream and underground Hip-Hop, Classic/AOR/80s Rock, cheesy New Wave, EBM, Classical and film scores, Blues, Instramental, ect. Too many to list. If you wanna know, ask.

Movies:

All genres. Netflix has become a godsend to me. I'm a film nerd.

Television:

Not as much time to watch as I used to, but here's some off hand. Family Guy, Chappelle's Show, Law and Order SVU, Battlestar Galactica, OZ, Rome, The Sopranos, The History Channel as a whole, Red Sox and Patriot games and a ton of other shows that I'll be catching up on thanks to everything now being on DVD. Weeeeeeee!

Books:

I'm so all over the place, it's not even funny. Ask. A few books I've read lately are: Story by Robert McKee, I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max, The Prince by Niccolo Machivelli, The Intellectual Devotional by Noah Oppenheim, Ron Jeremy: The Hardest Working Man in Showbiz by Ron Jeremy, Lords of Chaos by Michael Moynihan, Choosing Death by Albert Mudrian, The Art of War by Sun Tzu, American Hardcore by Steven Blush. Stuff by Tom Wolfe, Bentley Little, Dan Brown, Henry Rollins, Bret Easton Ellis, Robert Greene, James Ellroy, H.P. Lovecraft. Lots of nonfiction on history and politics. Also "how to" books. I think I'm gonna collect various cook books soon. And, don't laugh, quality comic books. It's my guily pleasure and I'm a writer at heart so I like good writers regardless. If I got a gig writing for a major title someday, I'd wear that as the greatest and most fun job EVER. Plus, they pay very well.

Heroes:

This is hard. I'll get back to you later.
