Sounds Like: ...the kid's headed STRAIGHT to the TOP..." P. Midus 1st started producing music under the wing of aCe Santiago in the mid 90's. After co-founding the production company with aCe, now known as Beatblazer, P. Midus went on to form his own production company with commercial recording studio to match both appropriately named after each other. The Rhythm Writer name eventually made its way from SLC to Downtown Los Angeles after many notable accomplishments. The studio was used for the SLC classic Calico & Blocks Project: Hustle Harder (which featured P.Midus production on songs with Bone Thugs in Harmony's Bizzy Bone and Northern Cali Fresno Artist JUTBOX. The project broke many records in the state and was followed up by Calico's 2007 effort "ColecoVision" which again was a hit in the street classic and feat production from P.Midus on multiple tracks featuring Purple City's own Shiest Bubz out of Harlem, NY and once again teaming up with Bizzy Bone to make history. P.Midus is currently in the studio with 801's J.Win working on debut album feat. Snoop Dogg, The Game, Juvenile, & Gucci Mane (to name a few). With the recent release of DJ Celly Cell mixtape, he has established himself as an all-round mixtape force to be reckoned with. On top of co-hosting new radio show "5th & Broadway" with Recording Sensation Chalice Serrano on Newbirth Radio, Midus is currently working on new projects with Swaggmaster Lance-a-Million, Vegas Veteran DUNCE, Bossman J.Win, YoungGun MONEY.
