Only One Truth (2005-2008 R.I.P.)

The band by the name of Only One Truth is from Petrozavodsk. This is a small town, located in the North-West of Russia in a region called Karelia, on the Finnish border. The band was founded in the spring of 2005. The members of the group have played in other local bands. Their styles varied from punkrock to folk-metal music. But they wanted to incorporate hardcore into their music so OOT was formed. At first the name of this new group was, literally, "Without Muzzles".
Later, after their successful debut on stage of the club "Mirage" on September, 4-th of 2005, the name was changed to OOT. The members thought it was a more appropriate name. Their music is a mix of different hardcore styles. The lyrics are in general faithful to hardcore. They touch base with social and political topics. All lyrics are written in russian because it is much easier to express inner feelings through the mother language. Some expression maybe hard to translate but we try to make english translations some day.
