ARTISTS PERFORMING

SCOTT HOLT BAND
Saturday 8pm
Scott Holt was guitarist in the Buddy Guy for 10 years (1989-2000) before going solo with his second release Dark Of The Night. Since that time Scott and his band mates Richard Sanders and Tom Larson have logged thousands of shows and millions of miles bringing their brand of Blues/Funk/Roots Rock to cities all over the US and Canada. This year brings the release of their 6th record, From Lettsworth To Legend – A Tribute To Buddy Guy. 2007 stands to be the busiest, most exciting year yet for the SHB. Don’t miss one of the most intense bands on the planet! Scott has performed on record and on stages all over the world, with everyone from Eric Clapton to members of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, performed on television at Austin City Limits, The Tonight Show, Conan O’Brien, Good Morning America, and appeared in the motion picture Things To Do In Denver When You’re Dead.Scott can also be heard and seen on the Buddy Guy box set; Can't Quit The Blues, out now.
DARREN GALLOWAY BAND
Saturday 6pm
Drawing heavily upon the Chicago style blues artists and an inferno of leads, fills, and solid rhythm work drives a powerful band to the edge. DGB has opened for such great acts as: John Kay and Steppanwolf, Roger Hurricane Wilson, Nick Moss and the Fliptops.
Roger "Hurricane" Wilson
Saturday 4pm
He's jammed with Les Paul, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert Collins, Roy Buchanan and Charlie Musselwhite, to name a few. He's shared the stage doing shows with B. B. King, Buddy Guy, Little Milton, John Mayall, Marcia Ball, Delbert Mc Clinton, Taj Mahal, Leon Russell and Edgar Winter among many others. With 6 CDs on the market, Roger, with his band, as well as solo is working overtime, performing 200+ nights a year. "Takes no prisoners in his approach to blues/rock"...Living Blues Magazine.
Tawl Paul & Slappin Henry Blue
Saturday 2pm
Known everywhere for his unique blues vocals and his style on stage. He has earned the right to being called the Blues king of the Midwest. Paul still plays often in Carbondale. Just ask anyone in town, they all know Tawl Paul.
Rev. MAD Dog & The Skeleton Crew
Saturday 12 noon
Rev. MAD Dog & The Skeleton Crew is a hell raisen, beer drinkin', whiskey snortin' 3 piece Rockin' Blues band out of Tennessee. It's all about a good time, good beer, good music, and good friends. The band has played many biker events(Including the Frank Wycheck Special Olympics Ride 2 years in a row), Bluesboro, closed for Scott Holt (Former Buddy Guy Guitar Player), the 2006 Music City Blues Extravaganza, and the 2006 Country Music Marathon. Guitar, bass, and drums is all you need for a great party time. If you want to see a high energy rockin' party band full of beer, whiskey, and sweat, then you don't want to miss Rev. MAD Dog & The Skeleton Crew.
EDDIE KING & THE SWAMP BEES
Friday 8pm
Eddie King was Koko Taylor's Lead Guitarist/Band Leader for 20 years. He has won many awards including a W.C. Handy Award for "Best Come Back Album 'Another Cow Dead'. He is on Roesch Records. He has an extensive musical back ground, cutting heads with all the greats like Buddy Guy, Freddie King, Luther Allison, Magic Sam. Willie Dixon sought him out to back up Sonny Boy Williamson at Chess studios. He is still strolling through the crowds, grabbing people by the throats with that flamboyant guitar playing. He is a real Bluesman with a capitol B.
RICH FABEC BAND
Friday 5pm
The Rich Fabec Band has been amazing audiences in Illinois, Missouri, and Kentucky for 2 years. The army of fans is growing. The RFB has one goal in mind-"KEEP REAL MUSIC ALIVE!!!" "Name Your Poison has all the guitar flash of a modern blues CD, but Fabec adds to the musicianship socially conscious lyrics that he delivers with a preachers ferver."
