Our mad scientist, Dr Strom, awakes from a curious dream and realises the error of his lunatic ways. Will he be able to halt his fiendish experiment, or is the undead monster in the smart tweed suit destined to walk once more.
The second short to be produced by Whippoorwill Films was 'The Brain of Dr. Strom', a homage to the Universal horror films of the 1930's, and the low budget horrors of the 1950's and 1960's. Featuring Mark Stevenson from 'The Last Horror Movie', and an original score by composer James Gray, 'The Brain of Dr Strom' has received screenings at the 2007 London Filmmakers Convention, the 2008 Portobello Film Festival and 2008 Portobello Film Festival Xmas Party, and short film nights including The Emperor's New Shorts at the Cockpit Theatre.
