WANTED: Serious Promoters. Serious Venues interested in serious metal.
Post Demo Days (March - April 08)
Ok the demo EP is finally complete and we are all very happy of how it sounds and the end result. All 5 songs have been uploaded here in no aprticula order but they are replacing the poor quality live drunk demos we had from last year. Now were back into writing and preparing for the up comming gigs. We have a 6th song which we will be working on over the next few weeks for unveiling at our next gig and possibly a 7th song to be introduced in the next month or so. Keep checkin for updates and most importantly... Listen to the tunes, love em, ROCK THE FUCK OUT to them and let us know what you think of them! The Story So Far (February - March 08)
After playing at the hotel california we decided that recording the songs for a proper demo was the next priority. After weeks of dedicated recording time and much hard work the demo is nearing completion. Just the vocals to record and the final mixing and mastering. New drummer jon..s immense experience and equipment was key to making this all happen. The results so far have been better than we could have possibly imagined. We are currently looking for any venues to play a half hour set in so if u know anywhere we can play please let us know. The Past. (November 2006 - August 2007)
It all started from Chris' bedroom jams with Chris an Barry sometime Autumn 06. Then to Glass rehersal studios 07, where they got a call Gareth from an add they put around lookin for other band members to fill a spot for a Lead Guitarist. Welcomed with open arms with slow progress for a month or so in Glass before a move to Crash Studios with the joining of Gaz Dunn for vocals an Lee an awesome double bass drummer who both previously knew Chris and 2 more all round great guys. With some convincing were all here like a 5 man army and its done nothing but move forward from there. The Dark Ages (August 2007 - December 2007)
Then distaster strikes. End of august after our first gig with top feedback our drummer has to leave due to family commitments. We spent the next 3-4 months jamming occasionally in limbo!!!! We have advertised to complete the line up with no serious responses. Kids who have just started playing or guys who just let us down. Knocked back over half a dozen gigs, a halloween party and 2 headlining events! We are searching for the right guy and its tough!Last Year. (December 2007)
Now with some hope and a bit of encouragement we bring in an old freind to some and a new freind to others named John. We asked him previously and he refused thinking we were a different kind of band. With gentle persuasion seeing he is a nice guy he give us the time of day and aggreed to stand in and it turns out he likes the stuff! Now its all comming flooding back like repressed memories of drunken nights out! 1 jam session into it we see hope! 2 songs almost down! Some of the neatest and sweetest double bass drumming I've ever seen or heard and lets hope all is good for the glory of our future and better than ever! Beware and be fucking prepared! We are Fear's Gone the 5 man army ready to rip you apart! From Gareth (Lead Guitar).
