About Me

Two points about my music:

* Everything you hear is played live by just one musician (myself) and nothing is pre-recorded. To do this, I use what is called a loop pedal. This piece of equipment allows me to record myself LIVE, and play what's just been recorded over and over, hence the name loop pedal.

* Most of the sounds you hear are coming from my guitar, just the intro of "One day will come" is played with a bongo. The drumkit sounds are also all originating form the guitar. I use different strumming techniques to produce some effects sounding like a Hi-hat, bass drum or snare.

Voila, thank you for visiting my Myspace, I hope you found your visit interesting. I have played a couple of gigs already; I think everybody enjoyed the show. More gigs will come, keep on visiting my myspace, I will post any gigs coming up in a near future.

Cheers,

Jeff.

My Interests

Influences:

Basically I like any kind of music as long as it is played by real musicians, with real instruments.

My first influences were metal (heavy, trash, black, death, gothic, symphonic...) and drifted gradually towards traditional music: French folk, Scottish folk, Irish Folk, Flamenco, Gipsy, tribal, medieval ... I am now very much involved with classical guitar.

The principal influences for this particular project were Rodrigo y Gabriela, KT Tunstal, Fred Frith and Emanuel Rossfelder.
