The group "Goonies", was formed by a long term friend and business partner by name of Exclusivo (2005-2006 era)... he brought all of us together, with different styles, different backgrounds and molded us to be friends, versatile artists and more importantley, we became family. The group dropped the first mixtape with 23 songs, plus a bonus, entitled "Above the law", which had the cities in Germany on buzz on who we were. Recording with artists on the mixtape such as: Exclusivo, Majik, Jay Beast, P, Drastik, Peedi, Loquaze & Mado 2 aka Fingers (who helped produced, master, edit and even rapped on the mixtape as well) and Ana. Shortly after the mixtape was dropped, Exclusivo had binding issues that led himself to exit our pressence for the time remaining. The group did shows around the cities, in clubs, on the radio, linking up with many artists for collabs and continued to grind (Jase Cook and the Hustleman Ent.). From the spring of 06 to the fall of 06, Goonies came to a break in life and realized that what is being done... no one else can do better. Many fans asked about another album/mixtape and what was going on. The group had got together during the end of Fall time frame, and discussed family business amongst each other to see where the minds are at relating to music. Networking with people from the states, back to Germany we found that instrumentals were not hard to get, but putting together a format on a song which took sometime. Each individual brings flavor to the group. Later, we had gotten in contact with Loquaze for some instrumentals and recording situation. The follow up album "Death before dishonor", dropped before our departure to Iraq. Loquaze, who produced half the album as well editing and mastering the album, made it known that the group can work well with each other with the type of rhymth on the album. Still one person, did not get his chance to shine. Now its the 2007-2008 era, and mixtapes have been dropping like rain like we in the State of washington. Upcoming artist and beast, Majik (aka the prince of the sip), turned his gears on and grinded harder than ever, and still continues to. He is the reason behind the Point Blank Mixtapes... the ideas, the editing skills, mastering, engineering skills, and lyircally... he is a beast. Point Blank Volume 1 was a success and gave him as well as the rest of the group, motivation to continue to even grind harder. 22 tracks were featured on Volume 1 with such artists: Lil Black (rapper/producer), Yung Sip (rapper), P (rapper), Jay Beast (rapper), etc... Currently, the group is finishing up the Point Blank mixtape Volume 2, working with artists such as: Majik, Jay Beast, P, Q, Ramsey... all who is bringing flavor to turn it up a notch. Discussions on the album are being made at this moment, but there will be album. We looking to work with producers: K. Mahone, Loquaze, Jay P, Lil Black, with many more to be mentioned down the line. Be on the look out for that...
