Hello, this is Chie Inaba.
Welcome to my myspace, and hope you enjoy my songs!
Below, a little bit about me (^_^)
I was born in Hiroshima, Japan. Although there were no musical surroundings in my childhood, however, I was such a lucky girl as to have chances to meet wonderful friends and musicians who still keep giving me the enjoyment and beautiful inspirations of music and my life. Of course, it would never have happened if I have not had warm understandings of my family.
My first musical experience is when I was in high school, and it was as a vocal of a pop band with my friends. Because I didn’t have any idea how to play any musical instruments or to read music at all, I gradually got to be eager to know more about music while I performed at local music clubs and attended events.
However, when I turned into a senior grade, my parents tried to keep me away from music as I had so bad and poor attitude toward studying general education and didn’t have enough score to enter a University in Japan. Nevertheless, in consideration for my desire to study music rather than to go to University, also they made a kind suggestion to study music in Los Angeles subject to study English as well.
In 2001, as soon as I graduated from a high school, I moved to Los Angeles and started to attend an English school and a small private music school in vocal major.
After a couple of years, I noticed that the more I got into music, the more my attention was focused on bass which always makes me exhilarated, and started to work on how to play the electric bass with kind support of Mr. Masanori Iji and Mr. David Levray. Needless to say, soon I got to be absorbed in it.
In 2003, I enrolled in Citrus College and graduated in music major at same in 2006. As performing at a local music clubs in Los Angeles as a bass player, I completed my recordings of my first mini album “Parallel To The Wind†which consists of my 5 original songs through warm support of Producer/Guitarist, Mr. Dirk K in 2007. In 2007, I moved back to Hiroshima, Japan and again I started to perform at local music clubs, cafes and attending local festivals and events now as a bass player.
Now in 2009, Almost 8 years past since I first lived in Los Angeles. I mostly perform in Hiroshima, but also often visit Los Angeles and perform in there. Actually, I go anywhere if I am able to have opportunities to perform or create enjoyable music.
