Nasco ad Oristano il 18.10.1970 sotto il segno della BILANCIA, da genitori Sardi che emigrano per lavoro in Canada quando io ho appena 2 anni.
Catapultato in nuovo Continente, cresco in una realtà multirazziale con influenze Anglosassoni che si fondono in usanze e tradizioni lontane anni luce da quelle in cui vivo attualmente.
Del Canada ho impressi gli spazi immensi ed il rispetto per la Natura e l'ambiente circostante, oltrechè per le persone.
Mi stabilisco a Toronto per 5 mesi, dopodichè i miei genitori acquistano una villetta singola con giardino a BURLINGTON - ONTARIO, una città situata a Sud di Toronto e a Nord di Hamilton.
All'età di 3 anni apprendo l'Inglese che è e rimane la mia madrelingua....successivamente frequento le scuole elementari e....purtroppo all'età di 11 anni e mezzo i miei decidono di tornare in Sardegna!!!
Black-Out!!!
Per è stato un trauma lasciare le amicizie e tutto ciò che mi circondava....
Ho impiegato circa 2 anni per superare le difficoltà linguistiche e di ambientazione, ma per fortuna ho potuto condividere questa situazione di disagio con 2 cari amici "Australiani", o meglio, Sardi emigrati in Australia con cui comunicavo solo in Inglese e con cui ho creato un forte legame.
Le prime esperienze Musicali si sono avvicendate in Canada con la Fisarmonica...un Disastro!!!
Abbandonai l'idea di dedicarmi ad uno strumento musicale fino all'età di 16 anni quando, mio padre mi regalò una chitarra acustica su cui iniziai le prime sperimentazioni.
All'età di 18 anni comprai la prima Chitarra Elettrica con 100 mila lire trovate per strada con il mio amico Tony.....che c..o!!!!
Da lì è nata una passione infinita e sfrenata per la chitarra che mi porta a comporre le mie prime canzoni rigorosamente in Inglese con le prime Band, "Jihad" il cui nome "equivoco",da cui ci dissociamo totalmente si è trasformato in "GREEN LEAVES"; l'avventura si è conclusa nel 1994.
Nel 1992 entro a far parte della band LOSTARK in cui milito tuttora in qualità di chitarrista-compositore.
Born in Oristano on 10.18.1970 under the sign of the BILANCIA, my parents emigrate for work in Canada when I am just 2 years old. Catapulted in a new world, I grow in a multiracial reality with English influences which melt themselves in customs & traditions light year away from those in which I live now. Of Canada I still can remember the wide spaces and the respect for the nature, not to forget the respect between people. Establish in Toronto for the first 5 months, my parents decide to buy a single house with plenty of green around in Burlington - Ontario, a town situated between Toronto and Hamilton. At the age of 3 years I learn English, which is and remains my first language. Unfortunately at the age of 11 mine decide to come back to Sardinia!, for me it’s a Black-Out! I leave everything I learned and most of all friendship. The first two years in Italy are stone-age following with linguistic difficulties and starting everything from the beginning, but I was luckily able to share this uneasiness situation with 2 good Aussies, or better, Sardi emigrated in Australia with which I still communicate in English(they came back too!!). My first experience with music took turn in Canada with an accordion...a bad idea!!! At the age of 16, my father bought me an acoustic guitar on which I began my playing experiments. At 18 I got my first electric with £100 lire found on the street (what ass). From there on an infinite and unbridled passion for the guitar which takes me strictly to compose my first songs in English with the first Band called “J???D†changed in "GREEN LEAVES". In 1992 I get in LOSTARK in which I still militate as Guitar and Songwriter.
