About Me

I'm back. Sometimes it's necessary to take a step back to take 3 steps forward. I had created a myspace page a while ago but sometimes, myspace gets to be a little too much. With that, I give you my new, drama free page. I went to college to be a music teacher, until the lure of performing overcame my lack of desire to study. So, a life of academia was replaced with a life on the road. I don't regret a second of it. So what's there to say about Me? I've lived a life full of music and theatre till the sparkling lights of the limelight gave me a headache. So I moved off stage and became president of a theatre. I use all my spare time as a computer systems administrator. Looking back, I have seen many productions and many great performers, some of whom you know, most of whom you probably wouldn't recognize. Someday I will write my memoirs. Perhaps no one but me will want to read it, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

My Interests

Theatre, Literature, Art, Poetry. The basics.

Some interesting random facts about Me:

I do watch cartoon network.

I have a degree from a cooking school in Italy...cooking is my passion.

Create your own visitor map!

I'm not a big Subway fan. In Philly, a hoagie is a hoagie...any similarity between a Subway sandwich and a hoagie is purely coincidental.

I detest the song
"Tomorrow" from Annie. That's every little girl's audition song. Have you tried to listen to that tune hundreds of times over a weekend? AARGHHHH!!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone...each person we meet enriches our lives. Won't you enrich mine?

Inside Joke

Music:

Classic rock, mainly...The Who, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Moody Blues, Genesis, Journey. But, I enjoy all music except rap and hip-hop. As Ray Charles once said, "That's kinda like talkin', ain't it?"

Movies:

Horror, Sci-fi, fantasy...anything with a clever plotline.

Television:

Law & Order (all incarnations), Hex, Footballers Wive$, Doctor Who (the classics and the revival), Life on Mars (you really NEED to watch BBC America to understand!), and any of the cartoons that require a brain to appreciate...OH, and professional wrestling is my guilty pleasure.

Books:

Stephen King, Dean Koontz, anything about Jack the Ripper

Heroes:

The NYC police, firemen, and all volunteers from 9-11. That day still lives within me. Anyone who gives a bit of themselves for another.

My Blog

Caveat Emptor

I've pontificated about this in other venues, but it seems that I never really learn... Online "life" can be very insidious...it draws you in and when you least expect it, it cuts you off at the knees...
