DEVIL'S APRICOT

About Me

Unearthed Series presents Devil's Apricot. Pre-dating the Louvin Brothers' Satan Is Real by 3 months, Miracle In Sheep's Clothing was released late in 1959. Although commercially unsuccessful, the trio did receive critical acclaim for their close harmonies, sparse arrangements and posessive song titles, including: "(The) Drunkard's Dream", "Biscuit's Redemption", "God's Only Brother", and "Satan's Tractor." This rare recording was made for the popular radio program, "The Lickety-Split Bicarbonate-Of-Soda Hour."
