About Me

I am a visual artist based in the East Midlands. Working with greenwood (specifically willow), I create large woven sculpture to commission, and teach basketry, furniture making and contemporary willow-work in educational and community settings. With a passion for the vessel it seemed natural to progress from throwing pots to building baskets; this then became the foundation for the sculptural techniques I use and develop today.I'm interested in combining planting with my greenwood sculpture to form interactive 'Earthworks' areas for creative play and spaces for reflection.
