..Music as a mirror of emotions. Journey, search, love, hate, fantasy, dream, passion and continuous discovery. The Orange Cabbas play a pure and genuine rock, different in every song in its tinges and driving forces.
It is impossible to identify a specific genre for this band, precisely because the melodies they produce vary from one piece to another: how many emotions are there? There could be as many songs by the Orange Cabbas.
They go from vermilion red hues to relaxing overseas pastel blues. The guitars of the Orange Cabbas essentially take their inspiration from the melodies and colours coming from the luxurious ‘60s and ‘70s. The deep and powerful voice has its roots in the Grunge culture of the ‘90s, while the bass and drums are the beating and roaring engine of this band. Last but not least, to render everything even more colourful, the Orange Cabbas can count on a tenor sax that uniquely characterizes the special sound of the band.
The Orange Cabbas officially formed in Lodi (LO) in October 2006. After making its debut in Padua in December 2006, the group made numerous live performances in Lombardy and Northern Italy. These performances helped the band grow stronger, while spreading its popularity in different musical circles.
The first positive experiences led the Orange Cabbas to record a demo with their first songs. In summer 2007 “The Orange Cabbas†(homonymous record) was released, featuring six tracks recorded at the Tray Studio in Inzago. “The Orange Cabbas†was produced with the support of the independent label Rebel Kid Music, with which a fruitful collaboration was set up. This led to an ever-increasing promotion of the demo and to numerous live performances organized both by the label and by Stefania from Lady Tiger Booking.
The Orange Cabbas are currently working on a new album that will be released by the end of 2009. It won’t be a traditional record, as it will be made up of various single songs due to come out at brief intervals one from another. Things to come will be a surprise labelled THE ORANGE CABBAS.
