Heart Attack 4/1993 to Stroke 4/2003In April 1993 I had a bad Heart Attack. I lost 40 percent of my heart. I had the balloon, again and again tell I was sick of go back to the hospital. I talk with my doctor and I told him CUT. I don’t want to have a balloon again and he did want I wanted. I thought I was done fine 10 years after it. On April 28, 2003, I had two strokes. The first one, I go home Saturday night from South Caroline I was tried so; I went to slept on the couch. My wife was have a Pampered Chef party at somebody house. When she got home we went to the bed. At 12: something I was awake to find this: I couldn’t get up and I couldn’t say a word just yelling. My wife called the EMT and they took me to the hospital (Henry General) I had a light one. Then, Sunday it happened again “the big oneâ€. My life turns upside down. I lost speech, I lost use of my right leg, foot and toes, I lost use of my right arm, hand and fingers. I lost my job. I lost my wife. We divorced February 2006.I went thought therapy.I have Wernicke’s Aphasia: Aphasia is a language disorder that results from damage to portions of the brain that are responsible for language. For most people, these are parts of the left side (hemisphere) of the brain. Aphasia usually occurs suddenly, often as the result of a stroke or head injury, but it may also develop slowly , as in the case of a brain tumor. The disorder impairs both the expression and understanding of language as well as reading and writing. Aphasia may co-occur with speech, disorders such as dysarthria of apraxia of speech, which also result from brain damage.Emory University Hospital. PT (leg/foot) OTR/L. Then I got therapy at PROGRESSIVE Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy MATRIX REHABILITATION with January 19,2005 Speech therapy and Feb.7,2005 PT/OT Therapy at Georgia State University. I am still going to GSU they have a Aphasia Conversation Group with a leader. I am glad that they have a Department like this.Thru God, and thru his angels (my friends) told me about Glyconutrients and the Doctor’s medicines.
