197346566|1| It had been a while since Mercy had talked to Bevin, sure the two lived together, but Mercy had been working her butt off trying to find a way to rid herself of Lydia so she was hardly ever around the house. She had also met someone, sort of. His name was Brian and he dabbled in the black arts, alot. He agreed to help her, she was afraid at first to let him in, scared that Lydia might kill him for trying to get rid of her, but he was so kind and sincere about helping her it was hard not to fall for him.Mercy came home late one night, Brian wanted to finish his work alone, he told Mercy to go home and get some rest. They had been working so hard lately Mercy had almost lost her job, not to mention her sanity. She had not slept in a good week or so. She had been living on caffine pills, coffe and anything else that had caffine in it. Mercy let the door slam behind her on accient. She groaned and closed one eye. "Shit." She threw her things on the couch and walked to her room. The dog she had under her arm squirmed. She let it go and hoped Bevin's door was closed. Clicking her tongue she heard tiny nails scratch the wooden floor as the dog ran back to her and into her room. She did not bother to take her clothes off and put her nightie on. She just flopped onto her bed and fell asleep, after kicking off her sandals of course. The dog jumped ont her bed and curled up right next to her ear.|2| Morning came but Mercy was not ready to get up and face Bevin. She was afraid Bevin would yell at her for not being home anymore. She continued to pay the rent and whatnot, but the two had drifted so far apart it pained Mercy. She had to find some way to make it up to Bevin. She would start with breakfast and coffee. "Ew." The thought of coffee made her stomach turn.Rolling off her bed she pulled her hair back and removed the hair tie from her wrist to wrap it around her bunched up hair. She changed into a pair of sweatpants and a tank before heading out into the kitchen. She had forgotten about the small dog she had brought home as well last night. Demon, the dog, nipped at her heels. "I am getting you food, chill." She fed the small Yorkie and then started a pot of coffee. The eggs sizzled in the frying pan, as well as the bacon in the second one. Mercy took in a deep breath, the smell of bacon and eggs filling her nostrils which flared at the wonderful smell. Mercy set the table and poured Bevin some coffee, the smell making her stomach churn once more. She shook her head and hoped the smell would be more appealing to Bevin than it was to her.
