What do you need to know about me? I'm obsessed with learning everything I possibly can. I love reading. I love writing. I don't love 'rithmatic...but I'm pretty good at it. I'm currently pursuing my masters degree in criminal justice with an emphasis on forensic identification and analysis through Boston University. I love good grammar, spelling, and anything that has to do with language; however, I don't enjoy Leet Speak, txt tlk, or ebonics. I've played piano for as long as I can remember. For those of you playing the home game, that means I've played since the age of two. My piano teacher, Mary Helen Harutun, passed away this past February and it absolutely devastated me. Those of you who knew her know how phenomenal of a woman she was. She was almost 99 when she passed. Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I LOVE smart people...people who make me think and make me laugh. I'm not talking about Beavis and Butthead laughing (though they do have their place)...any good humor gets points...but smart humor gets bonus points. BIG WORDS (especially when used correctly) TURN ME ON like nobody's business. I love people who are musical, theatrical, and artistic. If you can joke with me about music theory (and that doesn't include making fun of me for loving it), you'll be my best friend. In fact, if you know a joke where the punchline includes the words "chromatic mediant" or "parallel fifths," you'll be my friend until death. It would be good if you also knew what those words meant... In my past life I'm sure I was Beethoven's lover. Same thing applies for Rachmaninov.

Mrs. Harutun

So as my "status" has said for the last week, I have been mourning the death of my piano teacher.  She's really the only person I continue to refer to as "my piano teacher."  JR and ...

Baby Steps

I'm now a total believer in the "baby steps" method of anything.  I'm starting to see the method behind Kim's insanity...I mean, "madness."  The more I ride, the more confidant I get.  ...
