Ran Steiner began his way in the music industry working as a back liner with the biggest names of the Israeli music industry, (Hadag Nachash, Berry Sacharof, Shotey Hanevua Etc.), while climbing his way to becoming chief manager of stage sound crews in one of Israel’s most prestigious Live Sound company “MC – The musical connection Ltd.â€.After years of experience in the live music scene, he decided to expand his knowledge of sound engineering.
He finished his studies of sound engineering at “Gera – sound school Tel – Avivâ€, while working as an assistant engineer at “Noise studios†under the supervision of Top Israeli Producer/Mixer Tal Traybish.
At the studio he took part in numerous productions, was involved with Top musicians & artists from the alternative rock scene.He opened his own recording studio called “Nachtche Studios†in 2003 and in a period of 3.5 years he produced, recorded and mixed 5 indie albums.After his marriage he set of to London to study for the sound engineering diploma programme at the SAE institute in order to pursue his passion for sound design and music production.After graduating from SAE London, he went back to the "Real World", continued his work with great talented up and coming young musicians, recorded, mixed and worked as a live sound engineer at London's best live venues such as "KOKO", "The paradise", "the old queens head", "Astoria", "The Gallery"... mixing F.O.H !!!Now days As a freelance engineer you can find him working in various studios around London - recording, mixing, producing, Mixing F.O.H for "Laura and the tears", also House engineer at "20th century theater" in Notting Hill... and always "chasing the flame...cause why sleep when you can Mix ?!"
