The M4 family is a project based on various grooves produced by Undergroove Selecta and Malcom J. The family is now expanding while the underground scene in Rome is getting bigger and harder. The M4 producers, a.k.a. Malcom J and Undergroove Selecta, promote an eclectic mix of sounds that range from hip hop to drum and bass and electro funk. The alliance formed in 2003 while the two began working on Fruity Loop... With the desire to improve the quality of their sound, Undergroove Selecta relocated to Ireland for three years where he collaborated with other music producers. This move contributed to the funding of more advanced sound technology for M4. On his return to Rome, he re-joined the family and went back to producing bands, soon becoming further involved in the local underground scene. While always preserving his connection with Undergroove, Malcom J continued his progress in Rome, contributing to various events in the capitol and abroad. As M4 escalates the underground musical scene, the strong alliance between the two producers never faded but continually grows, with now more than ever bands added to their concerts.
