Petros Xourafas

Pianist, Keyboards Player, Composer & ArrangerPetro has been a working musician since age 18, and has performed with artists of various genres, such as rock/blues man Adonis Tourkogeorgis, recorded and toured internationally with Greek pop stars Costas Bigalis, Sakis Rouvas & Christos Dantis, opened for Shakira in Athens 2006 with pop/rock group C:Real, and played for renown Greek singer Yiannis Parios, as well as numerous other artists. For the past 10 years, he has been a member of classic pop/rocker Costas Tournas' band.As a composer and arranger, Petro scored the blockbuster film Straight Story released in December 2006 in collaboration with C:Real. As a member of pop/rock group Mariners, he released Ipirotiko on Victory Music’s Chillout Sessions Volume 1 distributed in Europe and composed and arranged an original CD called Time. Petro also arranged the single Ancortu on La Citta Del Sol for Italian crooner Franco Simone for WEA Italy which they performed in Belgium and Greece. At present, he is working on a new CD which has inspired a screenplay called Gareth.
