My name is Zoltán Gera. I was born in 1979 in Pécs. I am a professional soccer player, currently playing for West Bromwich Albion. I ususally play positions like, Forward and Left Midfield.My History:I joined West Brom in July 2004 from my older Hungarian club called the Ferencváros TC. I have signed a three-year deal with West Brom, with a further one year option at the club's option.
The first time I entered in the West Brom colors was on August 14, 2004. My first time in the starting eleven was on August 25, 2004, against Tottenham Hotspur. My first goal was when I scored in the third minute of the match.
In my first season I scored 6 goals and I was the only player on the team to appear in all 38 league matches.
I was recognized by many clubs. Aston Villa wanted me to play for them but I decided to stay.
In Hungary I was named Hungarian Player of the Year in 2002, 2004 and again in 2005.
