REDHEART

I am very laid back and turned on by the simple things in life,like being in the mountains,skinny dipping,watching the stars at night and the clouds during the day...I am a hippie at heart... I have great faith in the Creator and I believe in the basic principals in the Bible.I am passionate about learning and so I read a lot. I enjoy learning from others and teaching them what I have learned..My heart is over flowing with compassion for others.The most important thing to me is having peace of mind ,and most of the time, I do..I do not need a man to complete me because I am whole already. I do not need a man to make me happy because I am already joyous and content.I do not need a man to take care of me because I can take care of myself.(Although it might be nice, since I have never experienced it.) I would like to eventually find a mate to share all of life's joys and sorrows with.I need to be intellectually stimulated,spiritually supported and affectionately touched on a regular basis.That's not asking too much ,is it? I love to make things with my hands..I do Indian bead work,make moccasins,and other things out of leather, and I take things from nature and create my own art..I love to dance, especially in my regalia at pow wows..I love most kinds of music and listen to it often..Good music helps me to feel alive,refreshed and connected..My name is Pamela which means "All honey" but my Indian brothers and sisters call me REDHEART because even though I have white blood mixed in with my red blood , my HEART is 100% RED...My parents were both born in Oklahoma and came to Boise,Idaho when they were teen agers.They met when my dad was 17 and my mama was 13. They married two years later.Unfortunately,they divorced when I was 14. I never knew anything about my heritage ,because even though my parents knew there was Indian blood in them, no one ever told them anything about their ancestors.I made it a point to delve into our family tree and found more Indian ancestors on both sides. It broke my heart to discover that my ancestors hid their identity because of the prejudice against them.I decided right then that I would be proud for all of them and learn all I could about "the good red road." I have Cherokee ancestors on both of my family so I feel more connected to that culture. My Paternal great grandfather was Lakota and his wife was Indian also but I have yet to find out which tribe.On my mama's side there is also Chickasaw. The rest of my ancestors were English and Irish. ..
