We call Minnesota our home! Harvey was born and raised on a farm in Madelia, MN...Diane was born in South Dakota but was raised in Excelsior, MN...We were married on Jan. 31st, 1976....We have had homes in Madelia; Buffalo; Aitkin/McGregor; MN...and Gay Mills, WI! October of 2006 we put all our belongings into storage and hit the road in "The Purplebeast77"...we say we are "SEMI" retired! We bought our Freightliner Century Class (18 wheeler) "The Purplebeast77"....and headed out on a new adventure....and we are loving it. We pick our loads off the internet and spend as much time as we can visiting friends and family across the USA while making our deliveries. We both have always loved to travel but with raising the kids, living on a farm and owning a Feed Store one of us always had to be home to run things! It is so expensive to travel....so Harvey came up with the idea to buy our own truck with a sleeper on it and get paid to do our site seeing and visiting! We stay with friends and family or occasionaly we get a motel...but we are very comfortable in our Purplebeast! Our favorite stops are in Nashville, TN and Pigeon Forge TN downtown and at Dollywood! In the winter we spend all winter traveling around the southern states...we don't see much snow (which is very unusual for us because where we are from MN) About mid March each year we try to take a load to Afton WY...It is breathtaking driving the purplebeast up through the beautiful Wind Canyon and the Teton mountains! We have many gorgeous pictures that we have taken out our window as we travel and we love to share them if you give us a email address! We are so Blessed to have four wonderful children (adults)!***Shannon is the oldest....he and his sweet wife Dani live in California with their two children...Dani keeps busy homeschooling the kids and They have just recently moved and are hoping to build a house in the near future!***Anton is next...he and his wife Lisa (married in June 2008) Live in MN in a Mpls suburb... they are planning to build a new house on the land they have bought***Next is Micki...she and husband Dan live in Saint Peter, MN with their three children...Micki is a photographer, Dan loves to hunt and fish and other outdoor activities!***Judd is the baby of the family...LOL...He lives in Southern, MN with his wife Holly and her darling 2 yr old daughter Maddi (they were married in Oct 2008)They are due to have a baby in Sept 2009!...Judd recorded two CD's in Nashville, TN in Nov 2007..."STRUCK" & "CHRISTMAS IN IRAQ"...we are all excited where this new adventure may take him! Shannie is 13 yrs. old and lives in CA, Zachariah is 10 yrs old and lives in MN, Brandon is 9 yrs. old and lives in CA, Parker is 6 yrs. old and lives in northern MN, Preston is 6 yrs. old and lives in MN, Eliana willbe 4 yrs old in Feb 2009 and lives in MN and Maddie turns 4 yrs old in April 2009.
