Sounds Like: Although million influences make Callie's sound what it is, her general writing style reflects The Beatles, Tori Amos, Patty Griffin and the great songwriters of the 60's and '70s. The songs are eclectic, but they all focus on groove, chord arrangement, melody and lyrics that meld to create a "mood" that varies from piece to piece. She strives to write little masterpieces- songs that are emotionally provoking and musically moving.
