I started to play bass guitar round the punk movement 1978. It was so cool when we started the first band. We were four lads that suddenly decided to buy instruments and start to play together. After six months we were ready for our first gig as Warszawa and three months later we quit.
Since 1979 I've been in so many different bands that I've lost count of how many it is. I have never seen myself as a songwriter, though I've written quite a few songs through the years. Some bands were really creative and great forums for musical ideas, song writing and jam sessions.
Three of my compositions are now available here at MySpace. The original mixes of both "Running away" and "Sanningen" has been digitally remastered December 2007 by my dear old friend Micke RIP. Thank you man, nice job!
Bäcklund Boogie recorded "Running away" in June 1984 at Sunlight Studio, Stockholm, Sweden by Thomas Skogsberg.
Ankeborg recorded "Sanningen" in January 1985 also at Sunlight Studio, Stockholm in Sweden by Thomas Skogsberg.
Nedomansky recorded "Dreamin'" in May 1991 at Cool Studios Fryshuset, Stockholm, Sweden by Markus Gahnfelt and Conny (don't remember his last name) . "Dreamin'" was released as the first tune on a vinyl compilation named "Cold Stores volume 1", in the autumn 1991 in Sweden only. All bands on the LP represented different music styles, but they had one thing in common, they rehearsed at the same place in Stockholm, Fryshuset (The Cold Store, in English).
