Influences: Beatles, Stones, Booker T, Steven Van Zandt, Ray Charles, Sam and Dave, Otis Redding, Dr John, Chopin, Professor Longhair, Nicky Hopkins, Ian Stewart, Bill Payne, Johnnie Johnson, Bruce Springsteen, Mozart, Billy Preston, Ian Maclagan, Leon Russell, Oscar Peterson, Beethoven, Roy Bittan, Felix Cavaliere, James Brown, Floyd Cramer, Larry Knechtel, Big Joe Turner, Brahms, Richard Tee, Huey Smith, Elvis, Jerry Lee, Pinetop Perkins...you get the idea. Also Mrs Crowder (my earliest piano teacher) and Barry Beckett down in Muscle Shoals who taught me its not only the fingers that make a piano part groove.
