...And We're Coming to the Chorus Now!

About Me

I am Ed. There are many of us, none the same. I'm from South-Central PA (Chambersburg-think PA/MD border affectionately known as the 'Mason Dixon Line') and as such, have had to make my own/or search hard for entertainment for quite some time. Be it local, national, international, if it rawks, I'm about it. My sense of humor has been described as 'unPC', 'dry, odd', etc. I'd prefer 'cynically honed'. I love some art, but I'm also not into the true 'art scene'. Mainly because of the pretense of the people involved ("yr self-obsessed+sexxxy all the way"). Even though I think that's part of the package, I'm of the mind that too many people are into the marketing of themselves and socializing aspects more-so than the MAKING OF ART, so I tend to have guarded views of art and it's many entertaining, fabulously awesomeistic people. Life's too precious to waste with constant negativity, but there's something to be said for being realistic as well. It's the duality of life, I'm afraid- being too optimistic is just naive, but being too negative is just idiotic. So, find the balance and you come back with reality/life. It's unfair and many times cruel but it's the only one I'm currently aware of. (feel free to inform me of alternate realities and extra-lives {i need some 1-ups,yo!} when possible. Thanks!)What else might you wanna know? OH, Im currently living in Pittsburgh, PA (Dormont).Currently enjoying- alternate algorithms, deposed depositions, Q’s with no A's, unorthodox etiquettes, downtrodden deities.

My Interests

Music. Rawk. Films. Videos. Concerts. Editing. Writing. Drawing. Creating. Destroying. Finding where time and space meet, splicing it open and spilling it all over the floor... Observing moral codes and structures based on mid-level operatives of the KGB, disclosing semi-pertinent information to mild-mannered nobodies, mixing bizness with leather, minding my P's but totally forgetting about my Q's, dotting T's and crossing out every eye, inducing debates, tipping of beehives, stippling instead of cross-hatching, loathsome diatribes on transparent insects, feeling up the cross-hairs, and plugging into the Zen-state. Composing eloquent epics on disposable paper-products. Deconstructing the myth of humanity. Strictly enforcing traffic guidelines with hand gestures and verbal cues. Pushing the envelope of accepted norms to new frontiers of thought, then finding the maximum point of plausible deniability when found out. Familiarizing myself with nonexistent texts. Learning the correct cadence of communications. Contemplating the engine room. Installing homing devices on government employees. Measuring the gradient levels between "here" and "there". Dutifully cataloging and archiving the relation of 'Trendsetters' VS. 'Jet-setters' VS. 'Tastemakers and creating charts and graphs based on their differences. Watching as society slips another "mickey" to us. Studying the outcomes but finding no hard rules about much of anything. Treading water even though it's actually sand. Being awe-struck by scenic and random beauty, but utterly disgusted by media-fed/manipulated ideals of 'beauty'. Defying the awful sound of nothing by creating something FROM nothing. Disabling perimeter defenses in order to let woodland creatures back into they're natural habitats. Pounding the pavement in order to ascertain certain universal truths, then trying to get someone to listen to me after I've found them! Piercing the notions of culture so as they might leak and/or be subverted thru non-violent means. Geo-political fall out based on non-political ideas. obliterating the obvious. feigning apathy, but all the while actually being quite interested. hearing yr take on stuff.stories that go no-where but are fun to hear. resisting the notion.... all these things and a few more. I have no time for infinity; yet, I have infinite time for nothing....

I'd like to meet:

people who aren't too into themselves. OR people who like to think for themselves. OR nice people!people with senses of humor! Lord knows, far too many people have lost their sense of humor. people who can't accept face value, people who question everything, people who will treat others as they would wish to be treated. (read-respectful)people who are more interested in what yr about rather than yr ATM account. people who measure 'success' as a state of mind rather than strictly material standpoints. (read- well read+ happy Vs. well off+unhappy).the Swedish Chef, Rand McNally, Laura Prepon (circa 1999), Christina Ricci (circa Ice Storm), David Lynch. we could have coffee and pie. it'd be nice...Spoiled/Self-Important(read-self-absorbed+horribly pretentious) People Need Not Apply. Psycho's STRONGLY encouraged to adhere to this policy as well.pop-culture afficiandos/ musical gatabouts/ art-school dropouts/ gawd only knows.
