Born in 1976 and raised in Málaga, Antonio Escobar moves to Madrid in 2002 where he begins to work as composer, producer and mixer of the whole ASK Advertising Department production, one of Spain's top five music studios, triplicating its advertising production in just three years. In his roll can be found many of the most important ad campaigns of Renault, Peugeot, Ford, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Carlsberg, Larios, Cajamadrid, Endesa, Movistar or Amena. His creativity has been awarded, amongst others, at the San Sebastian Festival, at the APPE awards or at the New York Festival.
In 2004, he established his own company, Antipop Studio, which apart from continuing working on advertising, he also produces new artists. Signing with his real name or his pseudonym, Alan May, he composes soundtracks, makes important remixes for well-known artists, he writes articles for different music websites and carries on with 'Maydrïm' and Nieva, his major personal projects.
Some of his job's most outstanding characateritics are the ability to embrace any kind of style, his insight, his attention to details and his continous linkage with today's most innovative music.
