Bute FM will be a community radio station devoted to the people of Bute, providing a varied mix of music of all styles and genres, together with local news and views, up-to-the-minute travel information and other items of local interest.
Additionally, we will broadcast live performances of works by local bands/musicians, writers and authors in order to raise the profile of the talent we have in our midst. It is our intention that this service will provide more publicity for local events and activities, thereby increasing community participation.
We were hoping to have started broadcasting by now but due to unforseen problems we have had to postpone this for 6-8 weeks. A definitve date should follow in due course.
