About Me

At the age of 18, Pete Saunders AKA Nebula became a winner of the BBC 1xtra ‘Cutting Room’ competition in 2004. His winning track, entitled ‘Shadow Cell’, was then selected by the 1xtra d’n’b team to appear on their exclusive ‘Best of 2004’ compilation CD that was handed out at the 2005 Xtra bass events. Nebula has been encouraged and supported by a number of top names in the industry. Bailey, who invited him to be a guest on his award winning ‘Intabeats’ show, has played a number of tracks, as have Jason and Iyare, also of 1Xtra fame. Nebula has also has had a track played on Rob Da Bank’s Blue Room Sessions on Radio 1.Much of Nebula’s music borrows from the Golden Age of drum’n’bass using ambient elements and a strive for musicality, but at the same time he feels its important to emphasise the core elements of jungle music… the drums and the bass! when not making ambient drum'n'bass Nebula also tries his hand at some millitant 93 style brock out amenismIn light of this passion for drums and drum programming, he got in contact with the legendary Equinox who has offered much support including some invaluable expert advice.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Nebula’s debut release finds its way onto the forthcoming Sonar Project vol.1 on Vibez Recordings called "Blue Skies"Lets go back to go forward.
