We’re committed to supporting great music whether it be artists that have unjustly flown under the radar, or brand new talent worthy of appreciation and their time in the spotlight.
Each and every week, we love to bombard you with as much music as you can handle so the show features regular formats like our ‘Album of the week’, where we showcase music from either a classic or brand new album, or one that criminally slipped through the cracks; ‘2 from 1 @ 9’ marks the mid-way point of the show, and features 2 tracks from 1 artist at 9 o’clock; and, every week we love to turn the clock back and dig in the crates for classic songs by legendary artists like James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Nina Simone, Curtis Mayfield, among many many others.
We’d love to hear from you and welcome requests, so feel free to send your hi’s, hello’s, requests, dedications, shout-outs, jokes, or anything at all, and we’ll be happy to air it all. You’re also welcome to submit your requests for ‘Album of the week’, and ‘2 from 1 @ 9’ and we’ll play them just for you!
