Rock climbing, sailing, photography, weightlifting and most recently biking. Since I'm moving to the twin cities I make have to take up ice skating, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snow man building, and spelunking.
Rock climbing is fantastic, something I've really enjoyed over the last couple of years. It's a to bad that living in Memphis means I have to drive for at least 3 hours (one way!) to climb. And no climbing gyms here!
http://www.memphismountaineers.com/ "There are days when we all hate the fact that we live in a flood plain."I'm relatively new to sailing, but competition is always great. These guys never so much as put the boats in the water unless they are racing. So try having your first experience be as the only crew to a very competitive skipper racing against 5 others. It rocks! (Lightning class for you buffs out there)
Biking: It's MS 150 time again! Want to sponsor me?Friends, buddies, compadres and such. You know the type.
Ah music. Well, nothing special here. Like most people, I claim to have a diverse interest. But I'm so not trendy, and I can NEVER "Name that band."
U2, Aerosmith, Elvis, The Dave Matthews Band, AC/DC, Metallica, Nirvana, and Frank Sinatra come to mind as particularly rocking.None.
"The best story of my life" award goes to Stephen King for his Dark Tower series. I'm also a big fan of Robert Jordan, though he really need to pick up the pace! I'll read pretty much anything I get my hands on.
Lance. For being a cancer survivor, and taking it to the Frenchies in their back own back yard :)
Einstein, Dirac, Schrodinger, Pauli, Heisenberg and all those guys who basically solved all of chemistry with a little physics in the early 1900s. To be that smart!
My brothers. Two of the smartest and yet still cool and interesting people I know. Jesse is off to space institute for his graduate work in physics this fall, and Brady will be a better programmer than me this time next year.
