Who Am I? Who Am I? I’m that boy they call ‘Lil Scooby!

My real name is Dana Marquez Scott. I was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. on April 15, 1987, therefore at the time of this writing I am 20 years old. I now reside here in the A T L. I have been in Atlanta, GA for about 7 years. I moved to Georgia as a means of obtaining a better opportunity to succeed in life. My background and the life style that I was around in Florida simply was not working for me. Had I stayed there I would have been either dead or locked up right now.

I have always had a passion for music. I have been into music since I was about 9. It was at that age that I started doing talent shows at my family reunions and during my years of high school.

I view music as a mood, a feeling, and nothing but the truth about what’s going on in your life or in the world today. “Who Am I?, Who Am I?” is one of my favorite songs. In this song I talk about my life at it pertains to my birth family (the Scotts) and my music family (the QKBs, Quad Knock Ballers).

I initially came in contact with my Quad Knock family while I was working at a grocery store. I was free-styling on an aisle, just doing my thing. Never will I forget aisle number four! I was going through some serious stuff at that time that was simply consuming my mind. As a means of relaxing I began ripping some lines that were running around in my head. I must admit, it was some of my best work, I mean I was really saying some serious stuff, even to my surprise! I didn’t know it but “Mr. T” was checking me out. He then approached me and we got to talking. Ever since then, it’s been on! That is why to this very day my favorite number is number four!
