Rasmus & Byron

"Rasmus & Byron" is a brand new band consisting of Byron Hejl and Rasmus Ahlmark Jensen. We play simple, direct and heartfelt music inspired by great singer-songwriters like Leonard Cohen, Ben Harper and Jeff Buckley, mixed with a taste of the beautiful music of Mali, and a squeeze of soul, rock and country. Out of this we hope to create our own naked expression and use our two guitars and two voices to the full extent. We only play our own songs, which deal with themes of love, earth, hurt, saviors, longing, sex, abstinence, love, sirens, rage, fathers, mothers, lovers and ... basically love. We have just recorded our first demo, which is being mixed p. t. and we'll soon share some video-clips with you from our last concert at Kulkaféen, Copenhagen..
