My family brings me a lot of joy. I enjoy spending time with them. In the summer we spend a lot of time on the lake.

My son Richard is serving in Bagdad Iraq. The unit he is in is Bravo 21. Richard is an IED hunter.
Richard has a very strong desire to serve and protect. He is proud to be an American and proud to fulfill his duty to our country.
I am a blessed women to have Richard as my son.

I like a verity of music Country, Blues, Hip Hop, Soul, Oldies, Gospel. But my favorite is..Worship music! Something beautiful happens very time I listen to it. It makes my lift up my hands, open my heart, and call upon King of Kings!
I am not much of a movie person but Lady Hawk is on the top of my list.
Tom and I have a date infront of the TV for Heroes, LOST, and Prison Break.
I like to read the Bible. It has 66 different books in it. I like to look up the meaning of the words used in the original language it was written in.
Because Gods word is alive and active - I am learning many new things about God and about who we are.

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
The word Workmanship is the Greek word poiema. We get our (English) word poem from this word. A poem is a work of art. An artist expresses himself in his work. We are Gods workmanship in Christ.
We are a work in progress like a poem written by God.
My hubby Tom is my hero – I really like him?
I respect and admire him. He is truly a gift from above. After 23 years I am still impressed by his wonderful thoughtfulness.
