Enlightened in Autumn 2005, Mavis Concave established the alter-ego, emphasis on the ego, known as DJ THUMPER! Named in disrespect after the popular bunny character from Walt Disney's classic animation, Bambi, DJ THUMPER! began composing hard-edged pop remixes in the vain of gabber/speedcore featuring elements of fast breaks, buzzing synth lines, and generally more bounce to the ounce.
With the long overdue release of the demo CDR "First Blood" and the debut performance at November 2007's Ravesploitation Fest in Los Angeles, DJ THUMPER! is officially off the ground.
Ears to the future, DJ THUMPER! is rumored to have an upcoming 12" LP released on Ravesploitative Records with scheduled release Spring 2008. All details pending...
