BloodBlast was created out of the remains of another band called "Eargasm" where vocalist Sjoerd Klaas and guitarist Marcel decided to start another band.
March 2007 they succeeded to complete the setup with a drummer, Aant-Jelle and a new band was born. BloodBlast struggled with itself to find their own style. Covers were prohibited and selfmade tracks were born.
BloodBlast plays, though it own style, Trashcore like metal. Hardcore metal riffs and soothing melodies. Very soon the band started to play at local gigs.
Their own numbers started to grow in numbers and it was time to get to a studio to record them! But in the studio their weaknesses became visible. There was a bass guitarist missing. The sound just wasn't complete. In search of a bass player they found Alwin Skoorstra, a bass guitarist with unknown talents.
The lyrics from BloodBlast are based on the future and what will become of this world and standing against weakness and unjustness.
