I'm a native of Chico CA. I've lived in PDX and Dubois Wyoming (the most rural town in America). I'm the proud mama of Stella who's favorite things are swimming, eating tomatoes off the vine and exploring the world. I'm pregnant with baby numero dos and feeling excited and challenged. Pregnancy is like being on a desert island by yourself. It's wonderful to have the sun and the ocean but it'd be a lot better with a big fat cocktail. I'm happily married to Jake, who pretty much just rocks in every way (yeah dumptruck!!). My dogs name is Onyx and there never was a more enlightened being then he. I'm a recovering chef who worked fine dinning and pastry for 10 years only to discover that cooking is for the birds. Now I'm a full time student studying English and dreaming of someday putting my obsession of the written word to good use.
