Will Shak, real name Wai-Lim Willie Shak, also Known as DJ Shak Slam, born 14/05/1990 in Scotland, but the family was born in Hong Kong in China and moved over here to the UK in 1988 to get away from the poverty. Koon Yua Shak (dad) then started helping out his cousin's restaraunt as a chef, later he became the head chef, but Sua Fong Shak (mum) was helping out with the house work.
Start of P.1 in Troon Primary, Will was bullied a lot because of his race as chinese and had to go to language support because could not understand any english at all at the time. By the end of P.1, Christopher King, has helped out and started to become best friends and supporting each other and by the end of P.3 everyone then started to become friends and the news came through the teacher saying that he doesn't need to go to language support any more, but a teacher, Mrs Low. will come in regulary to check up the english. The start of 1st year, in music was interested about the drums and wanted to start up, but lived in a council area which isn't good when making loud noises. He then got into Hip-Hop music till the present.
The whole career started out as a rapper at first, rapper's name Shak, April 2006, been working on different tracks, writing lyrics and then collaberated with Gavin Reid, 04/02/1991. helping out with the background track as a guitarist. Everything went successfull until the summer of 2006, but that day will have to be forgotten, now is the time to worry about the future, not the past. Rap career has became devestated and is now over but, never-the-less, the ryhmes and flows are still going untill the start of December 2006 and it went completely dead then.
The whole life was based around DJing, the past till the present, loved to mix music together. Then in April 2007, got a pair of Numark TT1650 decks and a Numark DXM06 mixer and started to cllect vinyls. Later on in May, Friday 18th, had an opportunity to DJ at the Ark, collaberated with Cameron Welsh on the stage helping out with the DJing, and loved it. Was a great experience, learned a lot and hoping to carry on the career as a DJ in the future life.
