Superstar is a pseudonym wich stands for the name of Srdjan Jokić. I was born and raised in city of Novi Sad. Got into music when i was likkle youth by listening brothers records and radio.Radio always had big part in my life.Radio receiver,casssette tape decks and bunch of new wave, reggae, two tone ska and disco vinyl records pushed me in experiment called mixtapes. By the age of 15 i had drawer full of mixes with hits like "Ghost Town" by Specials, Beastie Boys "Fight for Your Right" and "8th Wonder" by The Sugarhill Gang.
Later on i discover tunes like "Pump Up the Volume","Theme from S'Express"and "What Time Is Love?".
At the end of 1999.started to work on local radio station and after some time i begin broadcast through the air my first reggae radio show "Crucial Cuts".Every Friday night from 8pm to 10pm i try to present some of the crucial reggae productions,artists,musician and labels. Show called "Superstar Live and Direct" folow as result of success previous broadcast and idea was to hitch up listeners closer to jungle and drum n bass sound. During five years on In Radio Supestar realize over 500 two-hour shows live where place take music from almost every reggae and drum and bass artist and producer.
From 2002 to 2004 i get opportunity to work in popular termin on regional public broadcaster Radio Novi Sad, part of National Radio Broadcast. Over 60 episode of "Randevouz with reggae music" was educational part of Superstars mission. See more in my blog soon. In period after 2006 year i played on Beatbox radio in four hour set Superstar Live and Direct. During years Superstar played on numberless places and towns allover Serbia.
Some sound spread rumours,but me don't care... They don't know!
