About Me

I've been a musician since I was young, starting when I was 6 or 7.....singing in school plays, in church choir, in a gospel quartet. Rock hit me and I picked up the guitar at 10, then jazz grabbed me and I picked up the tenor sax, which I've been playing ever since. I live and play in the Atlanta, GA area and free-lance as well as play with the Zoots/Tikis, Wavelength and with my buddy Ed Weir as a duet and with various ensembles in my church JFBC of Marietta, GA......I have an open mind about music and love to play a variety of genres, but my voice hovers in the jazz vacinity with strong blues roots......big faves include Wayne Shorter, Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Miles, Herbie, Sting, Michael Brecker, John Mclaughlin, Junior Walker, Bird, Jeff Beck, Steely Dan, Zappa, Radiohead and on and on.........
