I help run a clothing company called Haven Empire. I go to Hip-Hop jams alot and listen to Fresh underground Hip-Hop. I like to: go skateboarding, snowboarding, pump weights, racquetball, tagging etc... My work and family keeps me pretty busy now. But I get to travel alot, see new cities, roam the streets, post up Haven stickers on anything everywhere, and check out the scene there. I grew up in the California Inland Empire until I was 15, then my family moved to Utah. I hated it at first until I met alot of people in my same situation and others who live my same culture & ideas. I lived in Utah for about 12 years. Phoenix for 2 years, now back in the Salty Lake area.
About Haven Empire:
What's your HAVEN?
As the name implies, HAVEN Empire is the place where you can be YOU.
The company was born in 2002, inspired by a varied canvas of experiences and
influences.
We are determined to make you feel at ease at the events we represent. We
promote and advocate a "no drama" setting, where emphasis is not on
ethnicity or background. The creed in our Haven is doing what you do to the
fullest and finding that balance continually. When you buy our clothes, you
can have peace of mind that you're getting high-quality clothing made of
fine fabrics and "marked" with originally designed graphics you can't
get
anywhere else.
A lot of thought and perspective is put into our gear by a diverse crew of
artists. It's so much more than decals or stitching on a shirt or hat.
What we aren't: the corporate America suit-and-tie-guys. We're truly just
like you, experiencing real life and drawing on those experiences to provide
tight street fashion for people like us. It is a line that reflects a
distinct lifestyle and sub-culture--one that brings many eclectic people
together in a mutual HAVEN.
Thanks for supporting HAVEN
