fave pastimes of soccer, volleyball, was a big minutemen hockey fan and love watching the game, ice skating(although i'm not great, ha), i'm just a social drinker and stick to beer but when i drink can't go wrong with coors light, bud light or miller lite, learn how to shoot, bowling/pool, self defense (i'm certified in R.A.D. Basic Physical Self Defense), someday be a VA nurse caring for our vets, movies, cape cod, kayaking/canoeing, hiking, kids/babysitting, joining a medical reserve corps for disaster relief, charity walkathons, trauma critical care and emergency nursing, cats/dogs, getting myself to the gym more, aerobics, watching the Pats/Bruins/Sox....
a select few on my mind plus certain individuals who'd i'd like to reconnect with again.... people in the area who wanna go out and have a good time :)
Green Day, Kelly Clarkson, Nickelback, All-American Rejects, Black Eyed Peas, John Mayer, basically whatever is on Top 40 and upbeat stuff like dance/trance such as Cascada and Gigi D'Agostino's "I'll Fly With You" (great work out music). also like classic rock such a Queen, Aerosmith, Billy Joel and even ABBA's greatest hits. i guess pretty much anything, even relaxation stuff like Enya and "sounds of nature." we can't forget about a little country either (just a little), like Shania Twain, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson...
Miracle, S.W.A.T., The Notebook, The Bourne Identity/Supremacy (anything Matt Damon), A League of Their Own, Forest Gump, Backdraft, Ladder 49, The Mighty Ducks Trilogy, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Indiana Jones Trilogy, anything action/suspense, military themed such as G.I. Jane and Blackhawk Down, comedy like Wedding Crashers... not too into the "chick flicks" but will watch them now and then.
Of Mice and Men, She's Come Undone, This Boy's Life, The Cold One. really haven't read for leisure in a long time and nursing books don't count....
my fellow nurse SGT AM, all branches of the military (but my heart goes out especially to the marines and army because of certain individuals and u know who u are....), combat/flight medics, hospital corpsmen, all those in the fire/police/civil service (i come from a civil service-representing family of fire fighters/police officers and proud of it), FDNY/Fallen Brothers of Worcester Fire Tragedy.... anyone who makes a difference in someone's life and/or society. oh, and i can't forget myself or my nurse, i've come a long way.
