I'll just list what we've been listenting to lately... the old Delta blues guys, It's My Life by No Doubt about a million times in my car- I'm loving it. Learnt the words. What else? Some Ben Harper. How about Ayub Ogada. mmm Some Norah Jones on our anniversary, romantic stuff. Who else? The Cardigans, Queens of the Stoneage. Lots of odd bitty songs from Itunes. Kind of miss buying CD's really! KT Tunstall (thanks to Sophie my sister, LOVE Her (sister & KT). Wake up in the morning to whatever is in our CD player-waker upper. Since we are too lazy to ever change it, it's always (for the last month or two) The Killers (Hot Fuss) - not bored of it yet, our Music Lab commercial which is really sad to admit - but it's in the CD player, or, what's his name Kelly Joe Phelps who is an amazing amazing guitarist / singer. Someone said to me lately, "what's in your itunes? - That's how I judge people". Needless to say I didn't show them:) Who wants to be judged at all? Also, we've been listening to Eric Clapton 'Me & Mr. Johnson - AWESOME for dancing to, Emiliana Torrini - awesome for comtemplating to, Feist - awesome for waking up to, Sheryl Crow Wildflower - liking it. Threes & Nines Debut CD that Darren's producing - it's coming on GREAT and sounding wicked, Deborah Clarkes Scratch tracks - also coming on great - it's going to be a class act... Oh gosh, if your'e still reading this, you have too much time! But right now, I do too so I've come back to my list. Just downloaded Princes' single Black Sweat, is that BAD or what. Also I LOVE the postal service and gwen stefani and stevie wonder and Ray, oh, RAY CHARLES! Who else? Ok, my time ran out. Byeee.
Recently read 'The great divorce' by C.S. Lewis and it's fascinating. Everyone should read it. Just finished reading 'Losing my virginity' autobiography by Richard Branson, Virgin Records guy. Very interesting. Also reading 'Love is the Killer Ap' a biz book that makes you think, and now we are onto Bono's book - the one where he is being interviewed.
Jesus Christ. No one else comes close.
