..."Saw you at Glastonbury you were brilliant, put on a really good performance, definately will be attending more gigs"...Matt, P'cawl...
..."Saw you at Riff's (Swindon) ...and thought you guys and girl ...ROCKED!" ...Shred...
..."Psycho Baby were really good. Laura the singer was a real livewire and great at fronting a band - I suspect she has some sort of acting training as she really commands the stage. Good singer too, and the (all male) musicians in the band were certainly above average as well, and not just making up the numbers as is often the case in bands featuring a strong girl singer. Sometimes you see a band that have obvious star quality, and this is definitely one of those bands. They could go far" ...Dark Lord of Barnet...
..."I watched your set and it was quality, you guys rocked... you were by far the best band on last night"...Tim, The Newt Beer Festival...
..."Fair play for last night guys, you fuckin rocked. Really fuckin good" ...Frenetica, The Louisiana, Bristol...
..."Nice Tunes...among all 'crap' requests that we get daily, your work was absolutely fabulous and rockin'"...Red Rock Management, Germany...
..."Great to hear some good old 'rock and roll' back again"...Avril, Room Thirteen Magazine...
..."These four people are all extremely talented musicians. They work really well together as a group, and are clearly able to bounce ideas of each other to create their loud rock sound. Laura does an excellent job, not just on the vocals, but her whole persona on stage. She oozes sexiness, whether it's through the vocals, or through her movements. All four of the band, have a very good stage presence, and you instantly warm to them all. This band is one to see live, just to hear the sheer power of them."...Jodie Humphries, Live Music Scene. (see full review in blog above)...
..."You Rock!"......Unsigned Rock T.V. (U.S.)...
Thanks to Russ from Backline Photography for taking these great shots for us @ The Workhouse Festival 08. Please check his other stuff out on his page, he's great!
..."I don't usually write back to any of the bands after the festival, but i was so impressed with your set that i have to say a big thank you. I would like to see you back next year... providing you haven't become so big that you don't do small festivals anymore!...Thanks again and good luck" ...Tony Wainwright - Workhouse Festival...
..."Hey Psycho Baby, we wanted Laura as a solo artist, but now that she's working with you guys!...WOW!... Your band is going to go far"... KAR Records, U.S...
...“Psycho Baby were excellent. Great 'balls to the wall' rock n roll! Fantastic, catchy music played with exceptional feel. Their vocalist Laura is an extremely professional and talented performer with a unique and powerful singing voice! She has an amazing stage presence and looks like she was born to rock. The musicians in the band are highly skilled and tight players on stage creating awesome riffs that sound tight and original. Tight drum beats that fit the songs perfectly and addictive rhythms. Ace performance by the rhythm section! It is clear this band are dedicated musicians and that they live for music. An exceptional stage performance by all members fronted by a fantastic vocalist and performer. Great show guys, This band has what it takes to go the whole way!” .... David Parker Of Hells Bells....
..."You feed beefburgers to swans! ...Great stuff Psycho Baby now go forth and conquer!"...Grandes Cojones...
..."Lightweight melodic rock, with some gorgeous rock-chick vocals of the type that’s not terribly hip right now, but they do it very well. I’d be interested to see them live - I bet they’d bring the house down"... CM, Subba Cultcha Magazine...
..."I love your music, I would like to talk to you about record contracts" ...Red Skin Records...
..."Hey Guys and Gal!...lovin' your tunes!!...Hope to catch you peeps live or share the same stage one day, much respect"......Leo, Bullet Train...
..."Great band, really love the band. Top songs and performances and great vocal" ...H.T.T. Music...

GIGS COMING UP!...

And Our First Review of our New 5-Track EP ...AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW!

Wow! My faith in music is still alive and well.
Founded by Ian Smith (bass) and Rich Weaver (guitar), Psycho baby got in a bit of fluff to sing a bunch of sexy songs. Has it paid off? You betcha!Psycho Baby are a 4 piece, putting out 'Classic' 80's style 'cock-rock' as I like to call it. Its (excuse all the bodily adjectives) balls out, full on party rock. Similar to the style of such legends as, Hanoi Rocks, Enuff Znuff, Ratt, dare I say it....even D.C. Its good stuff, nothing particularly new, just great riff based guitar driven, in yer face rock.Vocalist Laura, sings her vocals as if they were written 'old school', like if David Coverdale had tits! Its lyrics at its most basic form we all adore, its non-pc vocals, about sex. Laura looks great, but she sounds even better. Soaring vocals, which for my money, can piss over any female out there at the moment. If I can compare, I'd guess Psycho Baby are very similar to the once great, Baby Animals crossed with the hard rock blues based tunes of Thunder. I can't give praise much higher than that. As a collection of songs, Psycho Baby have hit musical gold. 'You Gotta Body I Want' sets their stall. Pulsing riffs, grinding bass, overlaid with great vocals and chorus to melt the heart of any bloke between 13 and 103!Psycho Baby have stuck to a formula for the 5 songs on the EP. If it aint broke why fix it. ' Born To Be Bad' follows in similar vein. Enough of Laura, the guys also cut the mustard. Rich Weaver shreds it with the best of them and plays as if his life depended on it. Throw in the powerful rhythm section of Ian and Toby, and the result is ONE KICK ASS BAND.I hope they can get these songs out to a much wider audience, and get a decent support slot to boot. I sware it wont be long before Psycho Baby are headlining. Great band, great debut. The future's bright, the future's psychotic.
